Ingredients

  1. 2 kgpotatoes, peeled, boiled and mashed
  2. 1/2 kgground meat
  3. 5/8 cuppowdered milk
  4. 1/2 cupbread crumbs, ground
  5. 100 graw pine nuts
  6. 2 onions, minced
  7. 4 tablespoonsoil
  8. 2 tablespoonsbutter, cubed
  9. 1/2 teaspooncinnamon
  10. 1/2 teaspoonpepper
  11. pinch white pepper
  12. 1 1/2 teaspoonsalt

Cooking Instructions

    In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes with the milk, salt and white pepper.

    Add in the butter and mix again until you get a smooth paste.

    In a pan,use oil to fry the onions until soft. Add in the meat, pine nuts, cinnamon, pepper and salt. Cook until meat is done.

    Brush a baking pan with 2 tablespoons of oil and cover the bottom with half of the potato mix. Spread evenly the meat mix on top and arrange the remaining potato mix over it.

    Preheat the oven to medium heat

    Spread the breadcrumbs and the small cubes of butter all over the surface.

    Bake in the oven 30 min and then put it on the highest rack for 5 mins or until nicely browned.
