Ingredients

  1. 1 poundpasta (shells, bow ties, or macaroni)
  2. 2large cans chicken
  3. 1& 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  4. 1 jarmarinated artichoke hearts
  5. 1/2 cupdiced green pepper
  6. 1 teaspoondried basil or 2 Tablespoons fresh basil
  7. 1/2 teaspoondried oregano
  8. 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  9. 1 teaspoonfresh ground pepper
  10. 1 cupParmesan cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Cook pasta until desired softness...keep in mind that pasta will firm up when it is run through cold water, so cook a little longer than normal.

    In a large bowl, mix the mayo, spices, diced pepper, chicken (drained), artichokes (drained, but I added a couple tablespoons of the liquid to the dressing). Mix gently to combine.

    Once pasta is cooked, run it under cold water and drain well. Then add the pasta to the other ingredients and stir gently. Fold in Parmesan cheese.

    Taste to adjust seasoning for your tastes. Cover and chill until ready to serve.

Delicious recipe! I love the flavors. Although next time I think I'll do only 1 cup of mayo. The extra 1/2 is not necessary in my opinion
