Heat oil in a pan

Put cumin seeds and cook to splutter

Add chopped onion and ginger garlic paste

Cook till brown

Add tomato puree.

Put salt,red chilli powder, dry red chillies and chana masala

When masala cooks properly add chick peas

Stir well.

Add chana water and cook on simmer for five minutes.

Serve with kulchas or poori.
