Boil water adding 1 tbsp ghee,cardamom,cinnamon stick and lemon yellow colour,when boiling add the washed rice

Cook till done,dont over cook,wen done add half tsp lemon juice and strain.keep aside

Now heat ghee in a vessel, add cashews,almonds,raisins,apricot and saute..now add starfruit and pineapple pieces and keep stiring,add sugar stir and cook.cover the lid and let it cook till starfruit is soft.. Add saffron, beaten curd and lemon juice.Cook for 5 mins.add rice.stir and let it cook with a lid covered on low flame.dont stir too much.wen done add pineapple essence.serve hot
