Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupSago/ sabudana -
  • 1/4 cupSugar -
  • as neededSaffron - few strands
  • 1 pinchSaffron food colour -
  • 1/4 tspCardamom powder -
  • 1 tbspCrushed cashew nuts -
  • 1 tbspAlmonds -
  • 1 tbspClarified butter

  1. 1

    Soak sabudana for 3 - 4 hours and strain it.

    Heat clarified butter in a pan.

    Add crushed cashew nuts and almonds and fry it.

    Now add sabudana and saute for one mins.

  5. 5

    Add sugar and stir continuously till sugar dissolves and mix in the sabudana.

  6. 6

    Add saffron and saffron food colour and mix well.

  7. 7

    Serve hot.
