Check the fish for bones and remove

Cut the fish into strips

Dust with flour as you rub each between your palms to get that round shape

Beat the egg and put it in a bowl dip the fish fingers in and give them a coat

Then coat in breadcrumbs as you shape them again

Deep fry in hot oil till brown on all sides
