Tumeric Rice with Assorted Pepper soup

Rise the rice in a sieve

Add the rice, water and salt to a pot and bring to a boil

Pour the rice in a sieve to drain out the hot water

Dip in cold water, wash and drain

Set some water to boil in a pot

Add the perboiled rice and tumeric, cover and cook until rice is tender and has absorbed all the liquid

When the rice is cooked add carrot and allow to simmer

Wash and cut all the meat into bite sized pieces

Place the meat in a pot and pour enough water to cover the contents

Add blended scotch bonnet, onion, seasoning, ginger and garlic powder

Cook till done
