A lot of American recipes I've seen use canned frozen lemonade concentrate which is something we just don't get in Scotland. Upon further investigation, it's simply sugar syrup and lemon juice before any water is added and it's easy to make yourself

  3. 3

Divide between 2 freezable containers that hold 240mls / 8oz and freeze. The concentrate can be happily stored there until needed

  4. 4

To use, run the container under warm water until the concentrate is easily removed. Drop it in a blender and fill the container it was in twice with water, adding the water to the blender - so you're diluting 2 parts water to 1 part concentrate. Blitz smooth, test and see if you need extra water or sweetener, instant homemade lemonade! Recipe can be doubled, trebled etc.
