Steps

Wash and soak sago for minimum 3-4 hours in water, you can soak it for over night also.

Heat ghee in kadhai, Add cashews and stir it, when it becomes golden brown remove it.

Add cumin seeds in same ghee, then add pieces of green chillies and potatoes in it, strir it once or twice, Cook git till potatoes gets soft. You can also use boiled potatoes instead of raw.

Add rock salt in it, then add soaked sago in it and mix it well. Cook it for 3-4 minutes.

Add peanuts pwder, crushed black pepper in it mix it well

If khichdi seems dry sprinkle milk / curd on it and mix it and stir constantly for 2 minutes.

Cook it for 3-4 minutes, add fried cashew,grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves in it.

Add lemon juice and serve it hot.

If you are using cucumber add it lastly.
