Steps
- 1
Dry roast the broken wheat for about a minute in a thick bottom pan on low flame. Keep on stirring while doing this. After it's done transfer in a bowl and keep aside.
- 2
Now in the same pan, keep the milk to boil on medium flame.
- 3
Add in the sugar and keep on mixing.
- 4
Once the milk starts to boil add the broken wheat and stir very well.
- 5
Now cook the broken wheat in milk on low flame, stirring occasionally.
- 6
After about 15 minutes you'll find that the mixture will become thick, with perfect porridge consistency. At this point add cinnamon powder and mixed nut flakes.
- 7
Mix everything well and our creamy, nutty porridge is ready. Pour it in a deep dish.
- 8
Top it with fruits and nuts of your choice. Here I have used kiwis, bananas, apples & almonds.
