Sweet & Sour Mango Sheera

This sheera has a unique flavour ! Made using half ripe mangoes which are sour and at the same time a little sweet , imparting a tangy sweet flavour to the dish.

This sheera has a unique flavour ! Made using half ripe mangoes which are sour and at the same time a little sweet , imparting a tangy sweet flavour to the dish.

In a pan, add a tablespoon of ghee and fry the dry fruits.When the raisins plump up add, the semolina and fry on a low flame until it changes colour and fragrant.
Add boiling water, keeping the flame very very low. Mix well immediately so that there are no lumps.
Cover and cook in low flame for 2 -3 mins
Meanwhile, peel the mango skin.
Grate the mango or use a food processor, chop the Mango into very tiny pieces.Do not forget to remove the seed of the mango. - 2
Add sugar, cardamom and mango to the sheera.
Mix well breaking the lumps.
Adding sugar will make the sheera thin but after cooking for 3-4 mins, it will reach the desired consistency.
Cover and cook on medium flame for 2-3 mins.
Add 2 tablespoons ghee and mix well.
Serve warm !
