Heat the milk till it's boiled. Mix with maida and keep it aside to cool down

In a saucepan, mix 1 cup sugar with one cup water and keep it for boiling. Add elaichi powder in tge mixture. Boil the sugar mixture until sugar syrup is formed. Switch of the flame and keep it aside.

Now take a frypan, add oil and ghee. Once the oil is heated, put maida & milk mixture using round deep spoon to make poori sized malpua. Fry one or two at a time and immediately keep them in the sugar syrup.

Take out the malpuas from the sugar syrup and keep in in the serving plate. Garnish with chopped cashew.
