Peel your yam and cut into small chunks

Fry palm oil with onions, add ur grated pepper and pour water. Then add ur dry fish, seasonings, spices and allow to boil

Transfer ur yam into the pot and allow to cook.

Smash the cooked yam but not completely and reduce the heat for a few minutes. Ur yam porridge is ready to be served
