Ingredients

  1. 1full kienyeji chicken
  2. Water
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 1chopped Onion
  5. 2diced tomatoes
  6. 1/2 tsppaprika/cayenne powder
  7. Oil to fry

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash the chicken and go ahead to cut it into pieces.

  2. 2

    Put the chicken pieces in a saucepan and add water till the chicken is covered. Add salt and boil.

  3. 3

    Boil until the chicken is nice and tender(but not fall off the bone tender). Set aside.

  4. 4

    In a saucepan, fry the onions till golden brown. Add the tomatoes and continue cooking. Season with salt, paprika and add a little chicken broth in order to make a nice sauce.

    Add the chicken pieces to the sauce and allow to cook.

  6. 6

    Serve with rice or ugali and veggies of choice. Enjoy😜
