Firstly, heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan. Add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add fennel seeds, green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder, salt and the puffed rice.

Mix everything properly and roast it for about 5 to 6 minutes, till the puffed rice gets a little crispy. Once done, let it cool down.

To the puffed rice, add onions, tomato, green chillies and coriander leaves and sev and mix everything well. Add the lemon juice, mix well and it is ready to be served. Serve Mumbai Style Spicy Murmura with Masala Chai.

You can also add boiled potatoes and green chutney to it.
