Puffed Rice Tikki

Wash puffed rice thoroughly to remove fine sand particles, if any, and squeeze dry.

Now combine all the ingredients (except oil) in a mixing bowl.

Mix everything well to prepare a tight paste.

Make 10-12 lemon-sized balls out of the paste. Flatten them with the help of your palms to shape them into round tikkis.

Heat a non-stick frying pan and sprinkle oil all over. Gently place the tikkis and shallow fry them from both sides until golden brown and crisp.

Remove onto a paper towel to absorb excess oil, if any.

Serve hot with any kind of sauce or chutney.
