This is a very tasty fish and cooked in Bengali style with scraped coconut and mustard in mustard oil.

This is a very tasty fish and cooked in Bengali style with scraped coconut and mustard in mustard oil.

Smear little salt,turmeric and 1 tsp mustard oil in fish.These fish doesn't have scales so they splutter while frying.So smear oil and fry covered.

Make a paste of mustard and green chilli and curd.Add scraped coconut. Add it to the remaining oil.Also add turmeric,red chilli powder,tomato puree and adjust salt.Add 1 cup water and boil for 5 minutes.Sprinkle 1 tbsp oil and green chillies.Give it a boil.Serve hot with rice.
