Ingredients

  • 250 gmbesan
  • 50 gmsugar
  • 50 gmoil
  • 5 gmcitric acid
  • 4 gmbaking soda
  • 12 gmsalt
  • 3 gmTurmeric Powder
  • as neededWater
  • For tempering:
  • 1-2 tbspnOil
  • 2 tspMustard seeds
  • 15-20Curry leaves
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 5-10 mlLemon juice

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix salt, sugar, turmeric & citric acid in a bowl with some water.

    Add besan & whisk well.

    Add oil & mix well with a whisk.

    Arjust the consistency with water.

    Boil water in your steamer.

  6. 6

    Grease your trays with oil.

  7. 7

    Add baking soda with alittle water & whisk well.

    Add this batter to greased tray & steam until cooked.

  9. 9

    For tempering heat oil in a pan add curry leaves, mustard seeds & all the Ingredients than pour all the tempring on dhokla & serve with green chutney.
