Ingredients

  1. 1Cauliflower medium
  2. 1 sprigCurry leaves
  3. 2 tbspAll purpose flour/ Maida
  4. 2 tbspRice flour
  5. 1 TbspCorn flour
  6. 11/2 tspChilli powder (adjust per taste)
  7. 1 tspGaram masala powder
  8. 1 tspSalt (adjust per taste)
  9. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  10. 1 1/2 tspGinger garlic paste
  11. As requiredOil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl add all the listed ingredients except (cauliflower, curry leaves and turmeric) add 3-4 tbsp of water and mix to get a paste.

  2. 2

    Boil the cauliflower florets with turmeric powder and ¼ tsp of salt. Drain the cauliflower and add to the prepared paste and mix thoroughly. Do not add any additional water since the water content in cauliflower will be more than enough for the masala to bind to it.

  3. 3

    Now heat a pan with oil and fry in batches till the cauliflower turns golden brown. Drain and place in paper napkins to drain the excess oil.

  4. 4

    Finally, garnish with fried curry leaves and enjoy hot.
