Prepare jello according to package directions,take out 2 tbsp of jelly and set aside,let rest of it to set and chill in a fridge
Dissolve custard powder into 1/4 cup of milk,set aside
In a pot,pour milk and bring to boil,add sugar and dry milk powder,allow sugar to dissolve
Add dissolved custard powder into milk,while stirring constantly,
cook on low heat,keep stirring till custard becomes thick and creamy,turn off the heat. - 2
Now add 2 tbsp of prepared jelly but not set and vanilla extract into custard,stir to mix,cover the pot and let the custard cool to room temperature,when cooled,give a quick whisk
To assemble;
Take a large glass bowl or individual glasses so,layers can be seen
Place the spong cake in the bottom of bowl or glass,spoon some custard mixture over the cake
Layer the fruits,and jelly,spread another layer of custard mixture,add jelly,cover the assembled trifle
Keep in refrigerator.
