#Mommasrecipe# love for chapati is endless.Chapati or Roti is a round flatbread native to the Indian subcontinent, chapati can be eaten with a lot of sauces, soups or anything of your choice. But for me I do eat chapati with fish sauce, kidney, cabbage or potato soup or sauce.

Steps

  1. 1

First you pour your flour in a bowl, add baking powder, salt and then little oil before adding water to it.keep adding the oil drops by drops as you are kneading the dough to avoid the dough getting sticky to your hands.Knead the dough for like 10minutes before covering it with foil paper or cling film, you can as well use clean cloth in the absence of the cling film or foil paper.

  2. 2

Set aside and allow it to rise for like 15 minutes before you pour flour on the surface you want to roll the dough on.Knead the dough a bit before cutting the dough into small sizes.Pick one after the other and roll before putting it on the nonstick pan.Lower the heat and turn once the first side is done to the other

  3. 3

For it to also get done.Repeat the same procedure until you are done.Your chapati is ready to be served with any sauce or soup of your choice as I mentioned earlier on
