Take idli dosa batter in bowl and add salt and mix well and keep it aside.

Chop all the vegetables finely and keep aside.

Heat a nonstick pan or an iron griddle. Grease it with oil.

When the tawa becomes hot enough pour one laddle full of batter and gently spread it it circular motion.

Uttapam should be slightly thick. So don't spread to much.

When you find small holes appearing on it add the chopped vegetables.

Add oil around the edges. Reduce the flame to medium.

Cover and cook for a few seconds This time the veggies will get cooked well and bottom portion would have cooked.

Flip it to the other side and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.

Serve vegetable uthappam with coconut chutney and sambar.
