Onion is a common ingredient used in our daily life. Almost everyone knows about onion benefits but a few know about benefits of onion's peel. This is used as a home remedy for quick recovery from flu, sneezing & snivel problems. It can also be given to 11 months old kids to get rid from their snivel & cold problems. And yes, don't worry, this magical tea doesn't hold any pungent smell of onion, unless you disclose it, it's tough to guess for anyone that it's made out of onion peel!

I tried this using about 4 or 5 grams of onion skins per 250 ml of water. Brought to slow simmering boil for about a minute, Took off heat and steeped for 6 minutes. This tea is lovely without any sweetener, But added honey to taste and it is like the nectar of the gods! Lovely tea! Thank you Lipy for an awesome tea. I cannot imagine ever throwing away onion skins again.
