For the kofta:mash together cottage cheese & boiled potatoes. Add ginger, corn flour, salt, roasted cumin seeds powder, Red chilli powder, garam masala. Mix them well and shape in to the round balls.

Roll them in corn flour. Heat oil and deep fry till golden brown on medium flame and keep aside.

For the curry:heat the oil add cumin seeds, cloves, cardomom and black pepper stir few seconds. Now add sliced onion and cook for 5 minutes. Add garlic, ginger and Cashews nuts and cook for 2 minutes.

Now add chopped tomatoes and mix, and add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes.

Add 1cup of water and cover till the tomatoes are mashy.

Now turn on the gas and let it cool. Now using a blender blend it into a fine paste.

Strain the puree and transfer it to a pan. Bring it to a boil and add sugar and salt to taste.

Add cream stir and cook for 2 minutes and remove from heat.

Place the kofta in a bowl and pour the hot curry on the top and cream. Serve with naan and tandoori roti.
