Steps

Assemble all ingredients. Take a pan, add water and heat it.

Add salt, and black pepper to the water. Bring it to one boil. Simmer the gas.

Add Suji/Semolina. Mix the sooji with water. Switch off gas. Cover the lid. Let it cool. This mix should be like a dough.

Transfer suji dough to the mixing bowl.

Add a teaspoon of oil to the mix. Mix well to make a dough.

Now, take a lemon size ball of the dough. Roll it to smooth to make a ball.

Steam these balls in a steamer for 10-12 Minutes on a medium flame.

Once done, transfer to the plate.

Now, prepare the tadka.

Take a kadhai add oil and heat it.

Add mustard seeds, let it splutter. Then Add green chillies, curry leaves and Saute it.Then add red chilli powder or flakes.

Now, add the steamed sooji balls. Saute it for a minute. Then switch off the gas.

Transfer to the serving plate. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves. And squeeze lemon juice on balls.. Yummy 'Semolina Balls' is ready to be served. Enjoy endlessly.

Note : 1) You can store the steamed sooji balls in the fridge for up to 5 days. Just microwave them before serving.
