This sweet treat brings back the fondest memories with my granny ☺️ ramadhaan and fasting seems incomplete without indulging in these at least once in the month😉
Steps

Sift self raising flour, salt and sugar in a mixing bowl

Add melted ghee to the bowl and mix in until it resembles crumbs

Make soft dough with sour milk

Let dough rest for at least an hour
- 5
Roll out ensuring dough is not too thin and cut into desired shapes

Fry in hot oil until puffed up and slightly golden and drain
- 7
In another bot boil the syrup ingredients together until it pulls a thread
- 8
Let Syrup cool a bit and then dip the dhaintaras in, dipping in coconut afterwards
- 9
Serve warm or at room temperature
