Till I got married , I head & tasted only aloo papdi chat . Potatoes are used in many chat dishes like aloo papdi chat, bhel, pani puri etc. But aloo itself makes such yummy chat with very few ingredients and in easy way is new for me. My husband is basically from Dhanbad, Bihar now Jharkhand. He told me about this yummy chat recipe. He is a potato lover. In any form he loves potatoes. Potato is like God in food for him. This Aloo katta is obviously favourite dish of his.

2potatoes
4 tbsptangy tamarind sauce
1 tbspred chilli powder
1/2 tspblack salt

Wash & cut potatoes in halves. Pressure cook it. Once they cool down, remove skin & cut into thick slices. Arrange it in plate.

Dilute tamarind sauce, if it is thick. Pour it on potatoes. Sprinkle red chilli powder and black salt. Enjoy.
