Ingredients

15 minutes
4 servings
  • 1 cupfoxtail millet (soaked overnight)
  • 1 cupmoong dhuli dal (soaked for 15 minutes)
  • 1 tbspdesi ghee
  • 1/4 tspcumin seeds
  • Pinchasafoetida
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat up the cooker and add ghee

  2. 2

    Add asafoetida and cumin to splutter

  3. 3

    Add millet and daal then salt,turmeric and pepper

  4. 4

    Add water and cook (after 1 whistle lower the flame and cook for 10 minutes)
