Put flour and salt in a mixing bowl, add the water and mix well to form a firm dough. Add more flour if dough not firm enough.

Divide the dough into 14 balls. Roll 7 of the balls into circles to the size of a side plate, brush each rolled out circle with oil then sprinkle with flour. Stack rolled out circles on top of each other. Do not put oil on the top layer.

On a floured surface knead the dough till smooth. Put the dough aside and leave to rest for15 min.

Roll out the stacked circles evenly to fit onto a baking tray. Put the dough on the greased tray and brush the top layer very lightly with oil.

Bake in pre-heated oven until the top sheet puffs up. Remove from the oven and separate immediately.

Once the sheets has cooled, Stack it on top of one another and trim off the edges then cut into 6cm strips.

Take the remaining 7 balls and repeat steps 1 to 6 with the remaining balls
