We use this pancake recipe most of the time. It's the right taste and fluffiness that u can find in most pancake shops and cafes. If u love to have a bigger piece, you can separate the yolks and the whites. Beat the whites into meringue and add to the batter last by folding it gently until it mixes or incorporated well. Ingredients

  1. A Whisk Together:
  2. 1 Cmilk
  3. 1/2 Csour cream
  4. 1/4 Csugar
  5. 2eggs
  6. 1 tspVanilla extract/essence (opt)
  7. B Sift Together:
  8. 1 1/2 Cflour
  9. 2 tspbaking powder
  10. 1 tspsalt
  11. Butter for greasing the pan

Cooking Instructions

    Whisk A together. It’s ok to have small lumps of sour cream.

    Sift B & Whisk to mix. (whisk it dry). Pour A (wet ingredient) to B (dry ingredients). Stir until batter is just mixed or until no large clumps of dry flour remain. Try not to over mix the batter or you ll end up with a very dense pancake.

  3. 3

    Preheat a skillet. Grease it with butter. Ladle batter into skillet (1/4 C of batter each) now cook over the lowest heat. Let it lightly bubbles & dries at the sides (not brown) before flipping the pancakes. Serve warm.
