Chop the karelas and boil in salted water for 2 whistles. Remove from water.. squeeze and keep aside.

In a pan heat oil. Add jeera. Add onions.fry till half done. Add tomatoes.

Add the salt turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Add coriander powder. Cook till the tomatoes are cooked well. Add the karelas. Mix well. Cook covered on slow flame for 5 to 7 minutes.

South off flame. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with rotis.
