Tahini Sauce

#colourwhite
Tahini sauce has primary ingredient as Tahini which is often used to prepare salad dressings, dips, sauces, hummus etc and it’s best not to taste Tahini directly. Tahini is good for health so if you are looking for healthy sauce, then the search ends here. You can add 1/2 cup to 1 cup Tahini depending on the sesame seeds taste. You may not get the same type of sesame seeds everywhere across the globe so it’s best to add 1/2 cup and check. If sesame seeds are bitter then best stick to 1/2 cup only or less. Adding too less of Tahini might dilute the flavor of sauce.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Add Tahini paste to food processor or grinder
- 2
Now add rest of the ingredients. Blend well, keep scraping the sides while mixing it. Do not add all the water at once, add 1/4 cup at a time, process it and then check.
- 3
Sauce should be creamy, if you are using for Falafel, it should be more of liquid while for dressings, bit thicker so adjust quantity of water as required. Garnish with minced parsley and serve with your favorite dish

I thought of a sesame sauce for ramen noodle salads and bang bang chicken. The sauce is pretty sweet, so adjust the sugar as you taste. If you plan to serve this to children, replace the sake for water as you won't burn off the alcohol. Recipe by 1630412 cookpad.japan -

This is a simplified version!!I used lemon juice, but if you have fresh lemon, you should use it!!If you don't have lemon juice or fresh lemon, you can use Italian dressing. It's convenient if you make it right in the bowl that it will be served in to prevent dirtying extra dishes. One day my friend had told me that she needed to buy some pickles. When I asked what she was making, she said tartar sauce!! I think it's such a waste to buy pickles just for that purpose. It's fine if you like pickles and have them at home, but otherwise using parsley is totally fine. Recipe by mielle cookpad.japan -

Easy Tartar Sauce Easy Tartar Sauce
I don't really like pickles, so I made a variation on a tartar sauce recipe with some pickled cucumbers I had instead and it tasted great.I don't use heavy cream at home, so I used coffee creamer and it was a great success.Adjust the amount of coffee creamer to the richness you like. The pickled cucumbers have enough saltiness to them that you don't need to add extra salt, but give it a taste to see. Tzatziki Sauce Tzatziki Sauce
This is great on alot of different things, like grilled meat and veggies. If you use a regular cucumber instead of an English cucumber, be sure to scrape the seeds out before dicing it. Also, if using freshly chopped dill weed instead of dried, use about 1 tbsp. Christina -
Tzatziki Sauce Tzatziki Sauce
I have been playing around with this recipe for a while now, and I finally decided to sit down and log how I made this sauce. I feel like I have a pretty solid idea down, but I am always open to improvements. This is my first recipe ever, so hopefully you will like it! I hope I can continue to create, share, and find new recipes with this awesome community. Thanks! * P.S. I have been working on the recipe because the 3/4 tbl of garlic powder gives it a strong garlic taste. Try about 1/2 tbl of garlic salt (instead of powder) for less garlic flavor, and more of a refreshing taste if you would like. Thanks and happy mixing! (Don't know if I would call this cooking yet haha) Sam Martyn -

I wanted to make a tartare sauce at home. I tried many different combinations and thought that this one tasted best.Drain the pickled cucumbers well (or use normal cucumbers if you don't have any pickled ones.) Mix in the boiled egg after it has cooled. Add vinegar to taste, or none at all. Recipe by Ayako cookpad.japan
