For 1 cup of rice mix 1 cup of pesara pappu/ moong dal and add turmeric and turn on cooker for 4 whistles

Once cooker cools down, mix the rice and dal well. Add jeera, pepper power, salt, grated coconut, ghee roasted chilli and ginger and mix well with water to get a consistency little watery than the final pongal consistency

Again turn on cooker for 1 whistle and once done add tadka of Curry leaves, hing, kaju, ghee
