Ingredients

  • 1bánh chưng (Vietnamese sticky rice cake)
  • 7 tablespoonsvegetable oil (about 100 ml)

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the bánh chưng into small pieces to make it easier to fry until crispy.

  2. 2

    Heat a skillet and add the vegetable oil. Once hot, add the bánh chưng pieces and fry.

  3. 3

    When both sides are golden and crispy, remove from the pan and serve. Enjoy with pickled onions for a traditional New Year treat.
