Ice Cream Smoothie

Seeing that there are still plenty of ingredients in the pantry... let's make something simple but definitely delicious.
Ice Cream Smoothie
Seeing that there are still plenty of ingredients in the pantry... let's make something simple but definitely delicious.
Steps
- 1
Combine the powdered milk, sweetened condensed milk, cornstarch, water, and sugar in a pot. Stir until there are no lumps (do not cook yet).
- 2
Turn on medium heat and cook the mixture until it bubbles, but do not let it thicken.
- 3
Remove from heat and let it cool.
- 4
Once cooled, pour into a container that fits in the freezer. Wait for 2 hours. Stir the mixture if it hasn't frozen yet, then put it back in the freezer and wait another hour until it's semi-frozen (freezing time depends on your freezer).
- 5
Take out the semi-frozen mixture and mix with the melted SP immediately to prevent it from freezing again (if there's too much mixture, take half first and put the rest back in the fridge). Mix until it doubles in volume, about 20 minutes.
- 6
Divide the mixture into 3 containers to create different flavors. Mix one container with vanilla extract for vanilla flavor, another with Van Houten cocoa powder, and the last one with strawberry food coloring (mix at low speed just to combine the flavors).
- 7
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and place in the freezer. Wait until it is completely frozen and ready to enjoy.
