Moong Daal Dahi Vada

Grind the moong daal with very little water, take it out in a bowl. Mix the batter briskly for few minutes.

This will make batter light and fluffy, add salt, ginger paste,green chilli and baking soda mix it well.

Heat oil in a pan, when oil is hot for frying, add spoon full of batter in hot oil and fry the vada till they become Golden and crispy. Drain on tissue paper.

Now roast the spices, heat tawa or pan add cumin seeds roast for a minute, add black salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder roast them for few seconds, transfer the spaces in a bowl.

In a another bowl take water, add the vada to the water, soak them for 15 minutes, after 15 minutes take each vada and flatten and press between your plams to remove excess water. Place these vada in the plate.

Take yogurt add sugar, salt and 1/2 tspn roasted spices whisk the yogurt till smooth and sugar dissolve.

Now pour the yogurt/dahi mixture over the vadas, top with tamarind chutney, green chutney, tomato sauce and sprinkle the roasted spices, chaat masala, now Dahi Vada is ready.
