In a bowl, add 1 1/2 c warm milk, sprinkle the yeast, salt and sugar and allow to stand for 2 min

Add butter and whisk, gradually add the flour and mix. Keep mixing the flour and adding the remaining milk till start to form a dough.

Knead the dough well, and coat with the remaining 1 tbsp butter and knead again for 5min.

Cover the dough and allow to rise for 1 hour.

Once the dough has risen, transfer into a floured surface and knead the dough. Knead for 3 min.

Roll the dough into a rectangular shape(it does not have to be perfect), rub little butter across the rolled dough, sprinkle some raisins.

Roll up the rectangular dough, seal the edge by dabbing it with water. Place in a coated pan seam downwards.

Brush with egg whites, sprinkle some sesame seeds and raisins.

Cover the bread and allow it to rise for 15 min.

Once dough has risen again, brush with egg whites again and bake in a preheated oven for 20-30 min.

Allow to cool remove and serve. Bread can last up to 5-7 days.
