  1. 500 gmsMutton pieces
  2. 3Sliced onion
  3. 1 tspCoriander powder
  4. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  5. 1 tspKashmiri mirch powder
  6. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  7. 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  8. 1/2 cupCurd
  9. 1/4 tspMace powder
  10. 1/4 tspNutmeg powder
  11. 3 - 4Cloves
  12. 2Green cardamom
  13. 1Black cardamom
  14. 1 inch stickCinnamon
  15. 3-4Whole black pepper
  16. 4 tbspClarified butter

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Dry roast the whole garam masala.

    Heat clarified butter in a pan and deep fry the sliced onion,

  3. 3

    Once cooled to blend the whole roasted garam masala and fried onion to make a paste.

    Heat clarified butter in a pan

  5. 5

    Add ginger garlic paste,coriander powder,red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well.

  6. 6

    Also add mutton pieces,roasted garam masala and fried onion paste and curd and mix it well.

  7. 7

    Transfer in the pressure cooker and cook for ten mins.

  8. 8

    Add nutmeg powder,mace powder,red kashmiri mirch powder and salt and mix it well.

  9. 9

    Serve hot with rice or chaptatis.
