Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cupsolive oil
  • 5limes, zest
  • 1 cupfreshly squeezed lime
  • 2 1/2 tspWasabi powder
  • 2 1/2 tspsoy sauce
  • 2 tblhot red pepper sauce
  • 2 1/2 tblkosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tblfreshly ground pepper
  • 1 1/4 cupsminced scallions white& green parts, 12 scallions
  • 3 1/4 tblminced jalapeños seeds removed
  • 5ripe avacados
  • 1 1/2 tblroasted sesame seeds
  • 3 3/4 lbtuna steak

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut tuna into 1/4 inch dice and place in large bowl

  2. 2

    In separate bowl combine olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, wasabi, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce, salt & pepper.

  3. 3

    Pour over tuna, add scallions & jalapeno, mix well.

  4. 4

    Cot avacados in half. Remove seed and peel. Cut into 1/4 inch dices. Carefully mix into tuna muxture.

  5. 5

    Add toasted sesame. Season to taste. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
