Soak chana for 7-8 hrs. Soak dal for 1/2hr. Boil dal chana add salt and soda. Make 5-6 whistle.

Heat ghee in a pan add tej patta cinnamon cloves dry red chilli crackle cumin seeds. Chopped onion and saute add ginger chilli garlic paste. Chopped tomatoes salt and saute properly.

Now add boil dal chana mixture add 1 cup water garam masala turmeric powder stir well and cover the lid. Cook for 5-7min.

Now make tadka :Heat ghee asafoetida dry chilli red chilli powder sprinkle chopped coriander on dal and pour tadka. Serve hot with rice chapati.

Yummy delicious dal is ready to serve.
