Snack masti with health of steamed lentils and taste of chatpata filling.
Steps

Soak chana dal for 4 hours.

Drain and grind coarsely without water.

Add chopped methi leaves, ginger paste, chopped green chilies, salt, red chilli powder and carrom seeds. Mix well.

Dal mixture should be thick. If it is some how watery add 2 tbsp semolina.

Take small muffin moulds, grease them and line them with prepared mixture. Idli moulds can also be used.

Steam these moulds for 10-12 minutes.

Cool and demould.

Fill these baskets with masala corns / tangy sprouts / chatpata matar paneer salad etc... Serve.

If you like crisp baskets then after steaming these baskets can be deep fried or even air fried.
