Eggless Ravioli Momo

#momo #ravioli
You love momos but concerned about healthy eating and you love pasta also?! Here is a new way, follow me.
Not to use maida (all purpose flour) in making momos was my moto so I was looking for alternatives. I have tried whole wheat momo, oats momo, but this ravioli momo (I named it in this way cause I have used ravioli sheets in making momo) is just awesome. And the note for benefits the ravioli sheets used in this recipe is homemade and eggless.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
To make the pasta dough first mix durum wheat flour and salt then add warm water in durum wheat flour and salt mixture, make a semi soft dough. Add some olive oil over the pasta dough so that the moisture of the dough won't get dry out. Cover the dough with a lid and let it rest for 20 mins. And eggless pasta dough is ready.
- 2
Meanwhile make the momo filling. Add cabbage, carrot, capsicum, black pepper, salt and mix. In this stage you can add soysauce or any other sauce of your choice (optional).
- 3
Separate the dough in little batches to make the momos of your preferred size.
- 4
Now flat the dough balls using a roller.
- 5
On this circular pasta sheet or ravioli sheet add some amount of the cabbage filling (yes the classic veg momo filling) with help of a spoon.
- 6
And fold this in momo style.
- 7
Once all the dumplings are ready boil water and add little salt and olive oil. Cause we are boiling fresh pasta dumplings that's why adding oil in water is important otherwise the momos can stick with each other.
- 8
When the water starts getting little bubbles add all the momos in the water one by one.
- 9
Let it boil for 15 mins atleast. And keep flipping it several times so that all the ravioli momos get cooked from all the sides. Remember it on the initial 5 mins the raviolis are very soft so don't flip it at that time it might can break.
- 10
After 15min when all the momos are doubled in size and floating on water take them out.
- 11
And serve with momo chutney or momo sauce. My delicious ravioli momo or pasta momo is ready.. :)

Ravioli w/ Meat Sauce Ravioli w/ Meat Sauce
My eyes lit up when I found this pasta machine in the store one day. Then I started thinking about making ravioli. I kept my eyes open for a ravioli cutter, but couldn’t find one. I found a “Ravioli Plate”. I want to stress that this is one of those items that you’ve got to spend the money on. I found that out after the fact. I was able to make reasonable looking ravioli, but I was left with a lot of extra filling. I ended up putting the leftover filling into the sauce. I feel like the ravioli cutter would be better because then you’re not bound by the size of the cavity in the plate. I was very upset that I couldn’t make larger, more packed ones. Nonetheless, I carried on. Live and learn. Fair warning: it’s kind of a pain in the behind to make this... but you’ll have the everlasting privilege of being able to say you made homemade ravioli. Potato Ravioli In Tomato Sauce Potato Ravioli In Tomato Sauce
For my husband's birthday, I wanted to make something that seemed homemade, for the first time in a while, and I wanted to use some canned tomato sauce. This recipe is the product of a mix of recipe books I looked at, recipes I looked at online and my own ideas.- It's easier to shape the ravioli if you use a ruler while cutting it. It's good to use a pizza cutter on the dough, but you can also use a knife!- Don't overboil the ravioli when boiling them. They will fall apart.- Canned tomato sauce is usually tasty by itself as well. It's mild, so you can enjoy making different flavors with it. Recipe by Michikana cookpad.japan -
Steamed “Clean Out the Fridge” Ravioli Steamed “Clean Out the Fridge” Ravioli
This recipe was completely improvised, but they turned out so delicious that I had to share it. I call them “clean out the fridge” ravioli because you can really use whatever you have on hand. For example, the first time I made them, I didn’t add cabbage and they were still amazing. You can add other meats (like shrimp), more veggies, or even leave out the meat entirely to make them vegan!Traditionally, all the filling ingredients are used raw, but I like to sauté the meat with the rest of the filling to give it more flavor. I recommend deglazing with just a little soy sauce—it really adds a nice touch! The dough needs to be super thin, almost see-through, or it won’t cook properly when steamed. This recipe makes about 60 ravioli. I think 10 per person is enough, but we finished them between three people—they’re that good! So, get creative and enjoy! VeronicaTranslated from Cookpad Italy -

Two-Tone Ravioli with Heart Shapes and Cheese Cream Filling 🌷 Two-Tone Ravioli with Heart Shapes and Cheese Cream Filling 🌷
Do you love colorful pasta? I do, especially ravioli—I think they're beautiful. Today, I'm sharing a delicious ravioli recipe filled with cheese cream, which I posted on my Instagram stories three days ago. Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, these are perfect to make for your loved ones—there's nothing better than giving something homemade. Of course, with lots of cute little hearts to get in the spirit, but you can serve them for any occasion (maybe with little flowers instead). Homemade stuffed pasta is always tastier. The process isn't hard, it just takes a little patience. I made the hearts using small fondant cutters, and I colored the dough with beet puree. I made two doughs: one with whole eggs and a smaller one with just egg white, colored with beet puree. I rolled out three thin sheets: one I cut with the cutter to create a lacy pattern of hearts and flowers, then I placed the beet-colored sheet on top and used a pasta machine to join them. Finally, I filled the third sheet with the cheese cream and assembled the ravioli. Since the filling is so flavorful, I simply dressed them with butter, sage, and pink peppercorns.
