Ingredients

  1. 500 gmMutton
  2. 200 gmOnion
  3. 125 gmCurd
  4. 1/2 cupOil
  5. 1 TbspGinger paste
  6. 1 TbspGarlic paste
  7. 1 TbspRed Chilli Powder
  8. 1 TbspDhania Powder
  9. 1 Tsp(adjust to taste)
  10. 4-5Cloves
  11. 7-8Black Pepper
  12. 4-5Green Cardamom
  13. 2Black Cardamom
  14. 1 StickCinnamon
  15. 1/4 TspJaifl/ Jawitri powder
  16. 1/4 TspGaram Masala Powder
  17. 1 TspKewra

Cooking Instructions

90 minutes

    Take oil in pot. Add finely sliced onions in and fry to crisp golden brown. Take out onions from the oil and spread on kitchen paper. Crush the fried onions with hands or in hawan dasta.no need to make paste. Itt should be crushed finely.

    Add all whole spices in oil and fry for a minute. Add mutton in oil, ginger garlic paste and fry mutton on low heat till it changes colour. Add red chilli powder, salt, dhania powder and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add 2 cups water. Cover and let it cook on medium heat. When mutton is half done, add beaten curd and onion mixture in it and fry well. Till oil seprates. Add 2-3 cups of water and let it cook on medium heat till the meat is soft. Adjust curry according to need. It should be thick.

    Add kewra in last, jaifal jawitri powder. Sprinkle garam masala powder before serving. Serve with naan. Enjoy
