Ingredients

4-6 persons
  1. 1 kgpalak/spinach
  2. 5potatoes
  3. 4tomatoes
  4. 2Onions (1 Small & 1 medium)
  5. Salt
  6. 1 tbspRed chilli powder
  7. 1/4 tspTurmeric
  8. Pinchkalonji
  9. Pinchajwain
  10. 1& 1/2 tbsp sukhi/dry methi
  11. 1/2lemon
  12. 1 cupoil
  13. 2 tbspDesi ghee
  14. 6-8green chillies cut into 2 pieces
  15. Instructions
  16. You can change quantity of spices according to your taste buds
  17. You can also use fresh methi leaves instead of dry methi

Cooking Instructions

    Wash all vegetables. Cut them and put in separate bowls.

    Cut spinach/palak and wash them 3 to 4 times. Now blanch the spinach and strain out it's water.

    Pour oil in a pan, add onions and saute it.

  4. 4

    Now add tomatoes, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, kalonji and ajwain. Bhonofy it very well.

    Then add spinach, potatoes and little water. Cook it till vegetables become tender.

    When vegetables become tender, add dry methi, lemon and green chillies. Bhonofy it very well till oil comes out..

    At last add Desi ghee and bhonofy it for a minute or till oil comes out.

    Serve it hot with Chapatis/ Parathas
