Ingredients

4 people
  1. 1 kgpork
  2. 1/2tspn Oregano
  3. 1/2tspn black pepper
  4. 4-6 clovesgarlic
  5. Ginger (optional)
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. Rosemary leaves (optional)
  8. 2 tbspnvegetable oil
  9. 3 tbspnketchup
  10. 1medium size onion
  11. 2 tbspnhoney
  12. 1 tbspnSoy sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the pork and separate the ribs for easy serving at the end. Put in a sufuria add crushed garlic, vegetable oil, oregano, salt and black pepper (rosemary +ginger) cook under medium heat (don’t add water) cook until the water evaporates.

    Alternatively you can marinate in the fridge for 4-6hrs with the spices mentioned then roast in the oven. When ready, continue with step 4

    So after pre-boiling, spread the baking tray with foil, spread the precooked pork on the tray and roast in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20mins or until they are ready. remove from the oven and dry excess fat with a paper towel.

    In a small pan or sufuria, sauté 1 medium size onion, add ketchup, honey and dark soy sauce, stir until it begins to bubble (takes about 2-3mins) put the pork pieces in this sauce, stir and serve with the desired accompaniment. Enjoy
