Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsflour
  2. 1/2 cupcold butter
  3. 1 tbspnsugar
  4. 1 tbspnbaking powder
  5. 1egg
  6. 1tspn salt
  7. Cold water
  8. Fish filling
  9. 4medium sized mackerel fish/ice fish
  10. 1big onion chopped
  11. 12garlic chopped
  12. Handfull spring onion
  13. 10scotch bonnet pepper blended
  14. 1/2tspn oregano
  15. 1/2tspn ginger
  16. 1/2turmeric
  17. 1/2tspn cumin and coriander powder
  18. 1/8tspn cinnamon powder
  19. 1/2tspn black and white pepper
  20. 1onga classic
  21. 4seasoning cube
  22. 1/2tspn thyme and rosemary
  23. 1little oil

Cooking Instructions

    Here are all you need,start by adding oil into a sauce pan,add in onion and chopped garlic,pepper stir fry till soft

    Add in your shredded either cooked or fried fish(mins is fried), stir fry it in for 3 min then add all your spices and seasonings

  3. 3

    Stir fry for good 3 mins,taste to ensure all is okay then add spring onion,stir for 1 mins and turn off heat.and it is ready

    For our dough,start by adding the ingredients and mix

    Then your butter and mix till crumbly then add in your egg

  6. 6

    Mix well,till when you squeezed it in your hands it holds together,then gradually add cold water to form a soft dough.allow it to rest for 5mins

    Now your dough and fill in is ready,divide dough into 4,take 1 and roll it out flat,divide the flattened dough into 2 and add in your fish filling like shown

    Fold like this,and brush the edges with water or egg,and continue folding,till well folded like this

    Cut edges,and cut each rolled dough into you prepared pieces,greased pan with baking spray or butter

    Arrange them and use a fork to make hole,brush with egg and bake at 200F pre-heated oven for 15-20mins u can use sesame seeds and black seeds to make it more attractive

    And alhamdulillah it is ready😍

    P.s if u dont have spices like i mentioned above use the ones you have, but make sure u use ginger and garlic.
