Nana's Italian Meatballs Nana's Italian Meatballs
These are the meatballs that my mom used to make as we were growing up. She mainly used the bread as filler, to help feed six hungry kids and a husband.General rule of thumb, for every pound of ground meat, you use one slice of bread, and one egg. As for the spices, use what you like, how much you like. For the meat, I like to use a combination of ground beef and pork. I have yet to try this recipe with ground turkey, chicken, etc, but the recipe should still work for those as well.If you happen to have fresh oregano, basil, parsley, then feel free to use that. It adds an extra flavor punch! #mycookbookEnjoy! J.A.B. -

Swedish Meatballs Swedish Meatballs
This is my variation of Swedish meatballs...it's not traditional but it is tasty and easy. We usually serve this over egg noodles, but it's also good over mashed potatoes. Both options are delicious. Christina -

Bitterballs (Bitterballen/Dutch Meatballs) Bitterballs (Bitterballen/Dutch Meatballs)
This is absolutely a favourite everywhere. What makes it so great, is that you can chop and change the ingredients to whatever you want. The original recipe only has meat, salt, pepper, parsley and nutmeg in it, but I love it with onions and mushrooms. It is fantastic served hot with wedges and creamy garlic sauce! Try it without the beef stock as well using only milk and adding a little chilli for some kick. Divine! Adele Arpin -
