Ingredients

  1. 1 cupWatermelon cubes
  2. 1 TbspSugar syrup
  3. 1 TspLemon juice
  4. 1/2 TspBasil seeds (tuhkmirra or tukhmalanga)
  5. 1/4 TspBlack Salt (kala namak)
  6. 1/2 cupIceCubes
  7. Water as required
  8. To Garnish
  9. Leavesfresh Mint
  10. slicesLemon

    Wash & cut watermelon in half.take out watermelon cubes/pieces in a bowl.

    I have removed some seeds & few are still left in watermelon cubes. If you like try to remove all or leave (your choice).put cubes in blander along with ice cubes.

    Add lemon juice,sugar syrup & blacksalt as well.

    Blend watermelon with little water if needed.blend well.

  5. 5

    Soak basil seeds in 2 tbsp water & let them swell.

  6. 6

    Pour juice in jug & mix soaked basil seeds in it.add few fresh mint leaves in juice. Top up with a lemon slice, Mint leave & serve chilled.
