Ingredients

  1. 11/2 cupfull grain rice
  2. 1 cupshort red rajma(kidney beans)
  3. 1/4 cupwhole black urad daal
  4. 2medium onion
  5. 5medium tomatoes
  6. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  7. 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  8. 1 tspred chilli powder
  9. 1 tspturmeric powder
  10. 2 tspcoriander powder
  11. 1 tspdry mango powder
  12. to tastesalt
  13. 1 tspcumin seeds
  14. 2 tbspoil or ghee

Cooking Instructions

    Soak rajma and daal for 3 hours

    In a pressure cooker boil rajma and daal by adding salt on high flame give 3/4 whistles than lower the flame let it simmer for 10/15 minutes

    In a wok add oil cumin seeds when splatter add onion paste and saute it till golden brown add ginger garlic green paste saute it add dry masalas saute it for 2/3 minutes

    Add tomato puree saute it cook it well add boiled rajma daal saute on low flame stir it let the masalas and daal rajma coats well together

    Add water according to your choice

    Either give one whistle or let it boil for 5 minutes rajma is ready garnish with fresh coriander leaves

    For rice soak rice for 30 minutes than in a pan add ghee cumin seeds add rice saute add double the water on high flame cook till water 95% absorbs lower the flame cover with lid let it simmer for 5 minutes than switch off the flame rice are ready serve with rajma hot
