Cooking Instructions

In a pan add milk, baking powder, soda and brown sugar. Mix and cook until sugar melts.

Once milk is cooked add vanilla essence.

In a bowl add all flours and add butter.

Mix with a fork or rub with fingers to make crumbly, bread crumb like texture.

Add milk mixture

Add extra milk only, 1 teaspoon at a time if needed. Bring together everything without kneading much.

Grease a baking pizza plate or any tray that fits in your kadhai.

Wet your palm and Make small balls. Press them and make small cup like dent. Make them as thin as possible.

Arrange the prepared choco discs a little apart from each other.

In the kadhia add 2 cups salt and spread evenly, place a stand that is heat resistant. Keep this setup on low flame. Cover and preheat for 5-7 minutes.

If using oven, preheat @160°C.

Place the prepared plate inside the setup. Cover and bake on low flame. If required flip the flakes after 5-7 minutes.

Bake for 10-12 minutes. They will turn crunchy once cooled.

Cool and serve with milk or as a snack
